Refund policy

ROCK CLOTHING - Return & Refund Policy

Effective date: 14 September 2026

At Rock Clothing, we want you to be confident in every purchase. If you experience an issue with your order, please contact us at info@rockclothing.co.za and we will assist you in accordance with this policy and applicable South African consumer-protection laws.

1. Size Exchanges

We accept size exchanges within 7 days of delivery.

To qualify for a size exchange:

  • The item must be unworn and unwashed.
  • The item must be in its original condition.
  • Original tags should still be attached.
  • The item must not have stains, marks, damage, alterations or signs of use.
  • The requested replacement size must be available.

Customers must contact Rock Clothing at info@rockclothing.co.za before returning an item.

Exchange shipping costs:

  • The customer is responsible for the cost of sending the item back to Rock Clothing.
  • Once the returned item has been approved for exchange, Rock Clothing will cover the cost of sending the replacement item back to the customer.

If the requested replacement size is unavailable, Rock Clothing will contact the customer to discuss the available options.

2. Change-of-Mind Returns

For qualifying online purchases, customers may have a statutory right to cancel a transaction within the applicable cooling-off period under South African law. ECTA generally provides a seven-day cooling-off period for qualifying electronic transactions involving goods, subject to statutory exceptions.

Where a customer exercises an applicable statutory cancellation right, Rock Clothing will process the return and refund in accordance with the applicable legislation.

This right is separate from Rock Clothing’s 7-day size-exchange policy.

3. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • defective;
  • damaged;
  • materially different from what you ordered; or
  • incorrectly supplied by Rock Clothing,

please contact info@rockclothing.co.za as soon as possible and provide your order number and photographs where appropriate.

South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act provides an implied warranty of quality. Where goods fail to meet the applicable statutory requirements, consumers may have the right to return them within six months of delivery, at the supplier’s risk and expense, with the applicable remedy including repair, replacement or refund.

Customers will not be required to pay the return or replacement delivery costs where the return is due to a qualifying defect or Rock Clothing’s fulfilment error.

4. Items That Cannot Be Exchanged for Change of Mind

For hygiene and product-integrity reasons, Rock Clothing will generally not accept change-of-mind size exchanges where an item has been:

  • worn;
  • washed;
  • stained or marked;
  • damaged after delivery;
  • altered or modified; or
  • otherwise returned in a condition that materially affects its resale value.

This does not affect any statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe or non-conforming goods.

5. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Rock Clothing does not offer store credit as an alternative to a refund where a refund is legally or otherwise properly due.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or customer’s bank.

Where there is a conflict between this policy and a mandatory statutory consumer right, the applicable law will prevail.
